The PG FACTSociety was founded to support the funding and operation of a quality education provider serving the Prince George area. PG FACTSociety is made up by a visionary group of people and vibrant parents from the homeschool community who work to facilitate private education by raising money to make quality independent education more affordable and attainable for local families.
The PG FACTSociety is part of a new and much needed project in Prince George to give parents choice in education for their children. To meet this need, PG FACTSociety works to help fund The Discovery Academy + Homeschool Resource Centre (formally Wallace Tutoring) as an education provider. It is a shared belief that education should be for teaching academics, tech, trades, life skills, entrepreneurship, and agriculture in order to support the needs of our Northern BC communities and economy. TDA + Homeschool Resource Centre supports parents in their choice of curriculum, provides tutoring, and a physical location for students to attend. We are welcoming new members to PG FACTSociety so please email PGFACTSociety@gmail.com to find request an membership form. There is no minimum obligation of your time, and the $20 annual fee helps fund the learning centre directly.
